Your Information
Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to deliver your manual and help you. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising trackers.
What we collect
- When you buy. Our checkout provider, Whop, processes your payment. We receive your name, email address, country, what you bought and when. We never see your full card number.
- When you add your name to the Never the 51st State pledge. Your first name, town, province and email address, the two choices you tick, the date, which video link brought you, your approximate country, and a scrambled (one-way) code made from your IP address that we use only to stop automated spam. Signing shows a personal view about Canada, so we treat it as sensitive: we never sell, rent or share it, and we never show your email or surname. Your first name and town appear on the wall, and may be read out on Gord Wallace's YouTube channel, only if you ticked that box. We email you only if you ticked the email box, and every email lets you unsubscribe.
- When you email us. Your email address and what you write to us.
- When you visit this page. Our host, Cloudflare, handles standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page and keep it secure. To show you the right edition, the page asks Cloudflare for your approximate country; we don’t store it.
- Your edition choice. The page remembers whether you chose the US or Canadian Edition in your own browser’s storage, on your device. It is not a tracking cookie and we can’t see it.
- How visitors use this page. We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which video sent people here, and count how many tap the buy button. It sets cookies and records things like your approximate location, device type and the parts of the page you view. Google’s advertising features are switched off. You can opt out with Google’s add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Ads on Facebook and Instagram. We use the Meta Pixel to count visits and purchases from our ads and to show our ads to people who visited this page. It sets cookies and sends Meta your visit, device details and the pages you view. You can turn off ads based on your activity in your Facebook or Instagram settings, under Ad preferences, or at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Which video sent you. If the link you clicked carries campaign tags (such as “utm_source”), they are passed to the checkout so we can see which video brought you.
How we use it
- To deliver your files and resend them if you need them.
- To answer your questions and process refunds.
- To send you updates to the manual you bought.
- If we ever send other news, every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run this business for us: Whop (payment and tax), Cloudflare (website hosting and file delivery), Google Analytics (visit statistics), Meta (advertising measurement) and our email provider. We don’t sell or rent your information. We would disclose it only if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Pledge entries are kept while the pledge runs, or until you ask us to remove your name. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support emails are kept while they are useful for helping you.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. To take your name off the pledge wall, email us from the address you signed with. We reply within 30 days. These rights include those under California law and Canadian privacy law.
Children
The manual is written for adults and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
